Decorative ceramics 

For some years now, my decorative production has been characterized by alternative firing techniques, smoking, pit firing, saggar, procedures that imprint the charred sign of natural elements, feathers, horsehair, leaves, ropes, algae, on the satiny surface of clay, in a monochromatic symphony of lines and shadows.

The addition of oxides, carbonates and sulphates extends the chromatic range with oranges, blues and greens generated by combustion, without glazes.

The result is highly suggestive objects, waxed vases, moonjars and bottles with a velvety appearance, unrepeatable due to the nature of the creative process.

The vases, glazed internally to make them suitable to contain liquids, can be fired several times at decreasing temperatures to superimpose layers of marks that make each object absolutely unique.
